SSREI to hold training in Bokod

The College of Social Sciences will be going out of campus this Reading and Wellness Break for the Social Sciences Research and Extension Institute or SSREI to hold a training in Bokod, Benguet on Basic Facilitating Techniques. The training will be facilitated by Prof. Arellano Colongon, Jr., a professor in Political Science under the Department of Economics and Political science, as well as the former Dean of the College of Social Sciences.

The SSREI Training on Basic Facilitating Techniques will be held in 26 October 2022, next Wednesday to non-governmental organizations or NGOs in Bokod. Prof. Colongon will be joined by Dean Leah Abayao, SSREI Chairperson Prof. Ben Atim and other faculty members from the College of Social Sciences in facilitating this training.

The The Social Science Research and Extension Institute is the extension arm of the College of Social Sciences, UP Baguio, which began in 1992. The SSREI offers Social Sciences and Philosophy teaching and/or research training services, to educators, graduate students, and development workers from GOs and NGOs in the country. The institute also offers public lectures and seminars in both the online and offline modalities.
