Festivals help promote social cohesion and solidarity among members of society. It also plays a crucial role in bridging us to our culture and heritage which are important aspects of our identity. Today, festivals are continuously practiced in the Cordillera. They are avenues for recognition and statement, and at the same time, they shape our social identity as Filipinos.
The Department of Anthropology, Sociology, and Psychology (DASP) and UPB Sociology Guild (SoGu) presents Sociology Talks: Sociology of Festivals in Cordillera. It will be on May 17, 2023 from 3:00-4:30pm at the CSS AVR. Free snacks and drinks will be served for the attendees of the event.
