Evaluation Surveys
16 February 2023 — Here are the evaluation surveys from the College of Social Sciences’ recent events. On the 15th, the college hosted the new Research Conversations event where we sat down with Mr. Marlon Martin and Prof. Oona Paredes to talk about oral traditions and ethnohistory. The event was a laid back affair where our moderators prompted our speakers into talking about interesting topics and in answering questions from the audience (from both online and offline platforms). Many of the viewers and participants has certainly enjoyed what our speakers had to say and what they had to share regarding their experience and research.
On the 16th, the college hosted another formal lecture entitled, “People of the Book: Centering Indigenous Peoples in Research Design and Knowledge Production in Mindanao with Prof. Oona Paredes where she talked about her research in Mindanao and what it was like collaborating with the indigenous peoples on a project to document their oral traditions. The lecture inspired many questions about the FPIC as well as research methods and strategies.
Both events were livestreamed from the College of Social Sciences through the CSS’ new Youtube channel. You can watch the replays there if you’re interested in knowing more about what was discussed during the Conversations and the Lecture.
Because we value your feedback and we strive to improve your learning experience with us, we released evaluation surveys to these events. To access the Research Conversations survey, click here, and to access the Lecture survey, click here.
