Ecological Anthropology students’ of UP Baguio field trip to the Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park in Bauang, La Union

Ecological Anthropology students share their experience from their field trip to the Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park in Bauang, La Union. The activity was an opportunity for students to learn firsthand about how humans and the environment interact – in this case, it was learning about the environmental, economic, and cultural significance of the mangroves; and observing community efforts to restore and protect this important feature of the area. The visit was conducted in collaboration with the local government of Bauang.
