CSS student delegation in PHIMUN

10 July 2023 – The University of the Philippines Baguio student delegation, composed of BASS History and Anthropology majors, in the recently concluded Philippine International Model United Nations (PHIMUN) in UP Diliman.

“PHIMUN is the premier UN simulation in the Philippines, open to students from senior high school up to graduate school all over the world who seek to participate in a UN simulation and engage in debate and solution-making on current global issues.”

Hallie Kaith Pampolino (BASS History) won the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) Best Position Paper, and Jose Noel Syguia won a UNGA Honorable Mention.

Asst. Prof. Zuriel Domingo of the Department of History and Philosophy mentored/coached Ms. Pampolino, and served as an Observer throughout the three-day PHIMUN.
