Call for nominations to honor society

1 March — The Office of the College Secretary through the UPB USC-CSS Committee is releasing a call for nominations to honor society. All interested CSS students who wish to be considered for nomination to an honor society are welcome. Students must comply with the following requirements, however.

Please inform the CSS Office of the College Secretary on 3 March 2023 at 9:00 AM. Please email the office at css-ocs.upbaguio@up.edu.ph .

Requirements for Nominations

Junior Graduate Level

• Must be a regular junior as of First Semester AY 2022-2023
• Must have a weighted average of 1.45 or better as of First Semester AY 2022-2023
• Must not be a transferee from another university
• Should not have any disciplinary records
• Must not have grades of 4.0 or 5.0, and no incomplete at the time of nomination

Senior Graduate Level

• Must be an honor graduate as of Summer 2022 or First Semester AY 2022-2023 and Graduating with Honors for Second Semester AY 2022-2023
• Must have a weighted average of 1.75 or better
• Must have completed 21 units of social science courses
• Must not be a transferee from another university
• Should not have any disciplinary record
• Must not have grades of 4.0 or 5.0 and no incomplete at the time of nomination

Graduate Level

• Must be a graduate as of Summer 2022 and First Semester AY 2022-2023; graduating as of Second Semester AY 2022-2023
• Must have a weighted average of 1.25 or better
• Must have completed 21 units of social science courses
• Should not have any disciplinary record
• Must not have grades of 4.0 or 5.0, Incomplete and Dropped
• Must have completed all the academic requirements within the allowable time limit (NOT on maximum residence status)
