Memo from the Chancellor
5 March — For the UP Baguio Community, a Memo from the Chancellor on Remote Delivery of Teaching and Learning, and Flexible Work Arrangement on 06-10 March 2023. (Memorandum No. CCLA 2023-042)
Given the anticipated difficulty of students, faculty, and staff in physically coming to the campus starting, Monday, 06 March 2023 for the duration of the weeklong nationwide transportation strike, face-to-face classes may shift to remote delivery mode and university support operations may adopt flexible work arrangement.
Administrative staff and REPS should coordinate with their supervisors on the required tasks and deliverables for the affected days. Security and other critical frontline/operations personnel need to physically report to office.
This Memo from the Chancellor is informed and guided by the Office of the President Memorandum No. PAJ 23-06 dated 03 March 2023 and Office of the Vice President for Administration Memorandum No. NGY 23-28 dated 02 March 2023.
Thank you for your cooperation.
