The department is looking for a economics instructor who is able to work full-time and is able to hold face-to-face and online classes for the next semester of the academic year 2022-2023.

Economics in the College of Social Sciences
Economics is one of the major disciplines under the BA Social Sciences program. The BA Social Sciences program works under a major-minor scheme wear students can choose among Anthropology, Economics and History as a major specialization, and Philosophy, Political Science, Psychology and Sociology as a minor specialization.
Economics in the CSS integrates a social science perspective that puts forth a holistic and humanistic, rather than a merely technical view of economic issues. It intends to produce graduates who possess fundamental skills in economic analysis. The program will cultivate a general familiarity with the political, social and cultural context of economic behavior.
Students who take Economics as their majors will develop skills that will comprehend the elements and relationships that define economic behavior, evaluate the outcomes of policy interventions that aim to address particular social and economic objectives, and implement research that contributes to a deeper understanding of economic problems, among others.
