USC-CSS Representatives Consultation with Dean and SRO
USC-CSS Representatives Consultation with Dean and SRO: The UPB USC College of Social Sciences Representatives attended a consultation session with CSS Dean Leah Abayao and SRO João Paulo Reginaldo yesterday, August 25, via Zoom.
The meeting served as consultation concerning the plans of the College of Social Sciences on the conduct of blended learning for the 1st semester, A.Y. 2022-2023. The CSS administration, through Dean Abayao, reiterated their support for our campaign for safe and inclusive implementation of the blended mode of learning for the upcoming semester.
The USC-CSS Representatives Consultation with Dean and SRO also included a presentation of their projects to welcome the CSS freshmen, shiftees, and transferees.
The USC-CSS Committee is composed of the student representatives, the chairpersons and vice-chairpersons of the student organizations. They work together to conduct student-related events and activities that are socially-engaged and are in line with the goals of the CSS.
According to the University Student Council Constitution, the duties of college representatives are as follows:
- To promote and protect the welfare of the students under their College;
- To pursue/ report/ forward the issues of their respective colleges to the Council for appropriate actions;
- To represent the USC in College Assemblies; and
- To perform such duties the Council or the Chairperson may assign to him/her from time to time.
