Looking forward to future conversations
19 February — We’re looking forward to future conversations that advance indigenous ways of knowing. The University of the Philippines Baguio College of Social Sciences and the Indigenous Studies Program are grateful to Oona Paredes, Marlon Martin, and June Prill-Brett for gracing our Indigenous Studies Lecture Series last week.
Last 15 February, the CSS and the Indigenous Studies Program hosted the first Research Conversations with Prof. Oona Paredes and Mr. Marlon Martin. The Conversations were followed by a lecture delivered by Prof. Paredes.
The events were joined by undergraduate and graduate students from the different programs of the CSS, by faculty members, as well as by virtual participants joining from different parts of the country and even from the world. Of course, joining the events was esteemed Professor Emeritus June Prill-Brett.
The events were also livestreamed via Youtube, and you can find the recorded videos in the College of Social Science’s new channel. You can even avail an e-certificate by answering our evaluation forms. The evaluation forms will be open to the public via Google Forms.
If you’re interested and are also looking forward to future conversations with the College of Social Sciences, you can follow our social media pages to be updated when we announcement events and activities.
