Cordillera Studies Center is Hiring
The Cordillera Studies Center is hiring three (3) Research Assistants to join their team for a project on the establishment of a Landslide Knowledge Management Center in the region. This is in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology-CAR.
The minimum qualifications for these positions are as follows:
- Applicant must be a graduate of a related four-year course
- Applicant must be proficient in Ilokano and other local Cordillera languages
- Applicant must have excellent research skills
- Applicant must have experience in and willing to do fieldwork in the Cordillera
- Applicant must be familiar with and can navigate community protocols.

The Cordillera Studies Center (CSC) is the research extension arm of the College of Social Sciences that focuses on Cordillera and Northern Luzon, and Indigenous Studies. The CSC adopts a “a multi-disciplinary approach to research; close linkage with local communities to enable the Center to respond to social issues confronting the (Cordillera) region; a vision of social science practice relevant to the process of social transformation”.
