ACE 2023

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒃𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒔 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒔𝒖𝒄𝒄𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒇𝒖𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒅!

The UP Baguio Economics Society has wrapped up this year’s Academic Convention for Economics (ACE) with the theme “𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗟 𝗣𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗘!: 𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝟭𝟵𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀.” We would like to thank our speakers Mr. Jose “Sonny” Africa, Mr. Luisito Abueg, and Mr. Enrico Villanueva for imparting their knowledge on House Bills concerning monetary and fiscal policies.

We would also like to thank everyone who participated in this event! We hope that this convention opened up new perspectives for you. As economics students and students who are interested in the field, it is important that we take a humanistic approach in analyzing economic policies. UPB EconSoc hopes that all of the participants take this to heart. Again, thank you and we look forward to seeing you in next year’s ACE!
